- If you go through an agent - Ask yourself what does the agent do! They are based in Spain – they need to sell property but need to make a large commission on each sale to account for the fall in sales, so again you pay more.
- If you use an agent you will not have control over the process of buying your Spanish property. Think you are protected using an agent? In UK and Ireland estate agents are regulated, in Spain they are not. So as long as you get a good solicitor in Spain you will be protected in your transaction, so you dont need an agent.
