Having done all your planning, decided on your needs, decided on location, organised your finances then you need to find an English speaking lawyer.
This is a very important decision and again the experiences of other owners ablut spanish lawyers direct from their own mouths is invaluable. I personally went through three Spanish lawyers at the beginning and only years later found a fabulous one who when I got into wrangles with a Spanish Bank solved all my problems with the bank.
DO NOT USE THE DEVELOPERS OR ESTATE AGENTS LAWYER!!!!!!! You need someone who will look after your interests, who will give you good advice who will fight with the banks, developer or owner if needed.
There are many sources but word of mouth recommendation or a good bank of positive feedback on Spanish property forums is a good start.
